In this monographic work “Psychology of Combat Activity” by Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Colonel Vazgen Margaryan (Yerevan, 2009, ISBN 978-99941-2-303-2) in the context of the defense reforms implemented in the Republic of Armenia, the professional psychological characteristics of the personnel of the man-technical non-deterministic systems of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia are presented. the ways of solving the election problem, increasing the reliability of professional activity, the effectiveness of combat activity by simulating an attack of an ambushed enemy on military vehicles moving in the mountainous area and generalizing the obtained results.

Also presented are the main methods and ways of psychological preparation of servicemen for active combat operations, formation of emotional qualities, self-regulation of the psyche, protection from the negative informational and psychological influence of a potential enemy.

The monograph is intended for the commanders of the military units of the RA Ministry of Defense and their deputies in charge of combat training and military training, the staff of the military training centers and military psychologists.
