KARAPETYAN, Major, Senior Lecturer, Center for Research on Operational Art, NDRU, MOD, RA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the current circumstances, static defense systems can be effective if the following requirements are unconditionally met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">a static system once installed in any country shouldn\u2019t be copied, it is rather important to understand and take into account the specifics of a given locality, climatic conditions, the nature of expected combat operations, the technological development of the enemy army, the capabilities of fire for effect and the use of high-precision weapons by the enemy, its electronic warfare and cyber forces potential, the ability to overcome engineering obstacles and other circumstances;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the systems ought to be installed in the framework of a unified plan and concept in line with the assumption that they lack non-essential elements, and that it is of paramount importance that each of these elements functions at the specific moment designated for it by ensuring the harmonious operation of the entire system;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">vigilance ought to never be relaxed, and no system ought to never be blindly relied on in terms of its absolute effectiveness when ensuring the military security of the state;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">on the account of the predictability of the system and the fact that it is under constant enemy surveillance, the reconnaissance and fire capabilities of the system ought to be enhanced;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the integrity and continuity of the system ought to be ensured, thus eliminating the possibility of its bypass or penetration into the rear;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">measures ought to be taken in the protection of critically important objects from attacks by the enemy high-precision weapons or alternative solutions ought to be developed to ensure the continuity of the system\u2019s operation in the event of impact on these objects;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">measures ought to be taken to protect the system from attacks by the enemy EW tools and cyber forces;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">if necessary, the system ought to be provided with a universal property, integrating certain elements of a non-static nature into it and ensuring its flexibility.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":6907,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[178],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
