SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n

The key to success in modern operations and wars is attaining superiority over the enemy in the sphere of command and control (C2) with a focus on reducing the time spent at the decision-making stage, and increasing the degree of compliance of these decisions with the combat situation created. Upon this, the following measures are recommended to be taken:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • the collection, classification by spheres and significance (necessity), processing and storage of various intelligence in the largest possible volumes, ensuring its maximum possible accessibility for all levels
    \nof commanders, this also requiring a proper enhancement in the command staff training system;<\/li>\n
  • the development of new types of multi-purpose armaments and mili\u00adtary equipment systems, in particular, the integration of control, recon\u00adnaissance and engagement systems into a single combat system;<\/li>\n
  • the choice of the command and control approach to either the centralized (by instructions) or the decentralized (the mission-type command style) models, yet, the most appropriate approach seems to be a reasonable combination of the both, which takes serious theoretical developments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Hence, the development of command and control system in the given directions will provide for reducing the duration time of the stages and purposefully share the competences, authorities and responsibilities
