At the same time, artillery continues to perform the lion&#8217;s share of the assigned task, this resulting in the improvement of the existing artillery systems or creation of new ones by the world&#8217;s top military states. A number of requirements are imposed on the newly created artillery systems to ensure the effective use of artillery formations in modern operations. These requirements include increasing the range and precision of artillery fire; increasing the rate of fire of artillery pieces and installations; increasing the viability of personnel and weapons by improving the mobility of artillery systems and new technical solutions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aforesaid requirements, as a rule, are satisfied by the use of new technologies: the creation and implementation of various sensors; the improvement of artillery shells and missiles or creation of new samples (\u201csmart\u201d ammunition); the expansion of the range of guided (homing) ammunition; the widespread use of navigation systems and improvement of the fire-control system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Thus, it can be argued that the introduction of advanced technologies and the modernization of existing artillery systems will make it possible to significantly increase the combat capabilities of missile and artillery weapons.
